US Military Endurance Sports Adds a New Education Partnership

USMES Proudly Announces Partnership with United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA)

February 9th, 2017, Boulder, CO – USMES is proud to announce a new educational partnership with United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA).

In an ongoing effort to bring our members the best in health and endurance sports education, USMES has proudly partnered with UESCA to provide access to top-tier athlete and coaching education materials.  USMES Executive Director, Bill Jacobus, said

“In an era where distance learning is increasingly popular and more prominent, I am very excited to partner with the team of endurance sports experts at UESCA.  Their science-based teachings will be key in aiding our member’s efforts to improve their fitness and maintain a healthy lifestyle.”

UESCA does this by keeping a simple educational philosophy:  UESCA looks to eliminate fiction by concentrating on the science behind training methodologies.

The UESCA experts strive to take the complexity out of sports science and present it in a way that is intuitive, clear and without extraneous noise.  Their belief is that the proper coaching structure is based on a solid understanding of the body and how it works.  This enables a coach or athlete to apply this knowledge to get the best results on an individual basis.  Director, coach, and endurance sports expert, Rick Prince, stated

“UESCA is honored to support USMES and its focus on healthy living through endurance sports participation.  I can think of no better fit for our educational content than the athletes of our Armed Forces, as they exemplify everything that is required to be successful in athletic competition and in life. We’re excited to support our service men and women in achieving their athletic goals.”
